I agree with Matt, however if is going to be your only bike maybe the Damien will give you more riding time through the summer compared to a bike that is only ridable at a lift access place.
Just a thought

this is true, ill have to think about it both bikes are equally nice, both have awesome specs, the damien i think would be a better choice, provides more of a variety of riding ­style­s and still has plenty of travel

Yeah steve, a bike with a variety of ­style­s is essential for you considering your vast ability to conquor any type of riding in any aspect Seriously speaking though, i would go for the damien, O-cup doesn't offer super-gnar DH and you will want a versitile bike.
