well my manitou travis just started to bottom out on me alot. I can bottom it out and hear a hudge ting when it reaches the bottom. I have changed the oil and played around with the rebound and dampening, no use... I am looking into a new spring stiffer but manitous response to me was go to my lbs after I told them that they dont deal/ distribute manitou products.

so my question finally (after all of that) is if any of you know of any online sites that would deal any springs for the travis?

Try to google it.
Trident sports is the new Manitou distributor in Canada, you could always give them a call and see if they sell to a bike shop near you,or check their website, or see if you could order directly from them (unlikely but worth a shot).

hey bro, i basically have had the same problem with mine, if you have intrinsic dampening then you wont be able to fix the fucking thing, you can tell if its intrinsic by the red knob on the right leg, i have talked to manitou and they told me to go to my local bike shop and get them to send it too trident, the new manitou distributor, i havent got my fork back yet, but i should be recieving it within a few days, i will let you know how it feels after it gets back....BTW i had a TI spring in mine

yeah man, they will for sure, well back in the day when i had my stance kingpin(piece of shit)lol they sent me X-stiff and XX-stiff springs for it. The best thing to do is probably go to your lbs during the day around 3 or 4(the earlier the better)and get them to call trident the canadian manitou distributor and see if they will send them for free or fairly cheap, they sent mine for free, i didnt pay one cent but they werent TI springs so, but give it a shot, post a pic of your fork on the forum, i just want to see what it looks like.
