Cycle Solutions O-Cup DH #2 Build Day June 1 presented

After a successful first race of the season at Kelso
we are back for a brand new, never before seen race
course. I've had a great number of enquiries about
when the build day will be, so I'm pleased to announce
the following:

When: June 1 at 10:30am
Where: Kelso Conservation area, Sunset Lodge, park in
western lot and walk over the bridge.
Who: Sirbikealot Racing Crew will split everyone up
into smaller teams to work on certain parts of the
course.
What: please bring shovels, saws, rakes, clippers etc



Please be sure to tell the Kelso front gate you are an
Ontario Cup DH Volunteer, this will get you into the
park for free.

I can also sign any documents for student volunteer
hours.

I'll be providing snacks and water for everyone, those
providing a full days work on the course will receive
a discount on Practice Day registration.

This is also a perfect chance to see this new course
before anyone else to get a real vibe of what you'll
need to land on the podium!

and juan sick idea with the video, id be down for that. and this time we have two weeks before the race!

Pete says that they will be starting the new course at the ski race start that is at the top of the hill and the one you go over on the chair lift. The the run supposedly goes somewhere into that giant rocky forested area.

i cant believe i broke my fuckin ankle 2 nights ago

im racing in my soft cast i dont even care

shit that sucks man, good luck, i rode the first 4X with a broekn wrist(in the cast) it wasnt to bad, but i only had a week till i got it off. jsut make sure the cast dosnt get wet if you do race with it.

Fuck Blaise... I almost broke my ankle man when we were supposed to test ride some bikes. I can still barely walk right. I wouldn't push the ankle too hard if I were you

dont worry, i have been on the bike a little just riding on the sidewalks, excercising it, i think it should hopefully be good for the race

im gonna tape my ankle up so it doesnt twist or anything, its all blue and black right now lol but it feels pretty solid, i havent had to use my cruches today at all, it should be in prime shape for the weekend

Dude someone should wrap your head on plastic, shut the fuck up and take care of it until is good, don't be a cowboy, they don't even make movies about them anymore

How swollen is your ankle? Mine was originally about the size of a football. Now the swelling is pretty much gone, but when I aggrivate it, it swells up so fast and big.

My advice is to ice your ankle every few hours at home, buy a tensor ankle brace, wear it all day, even to bed (brace keeps blood from pooling in ankle). Wear it riding as well, so it can't go anywhere. I'm always wearing my ankle brace now for riding and what not.
