Looks insanely heavy, lol.
Edit* Personally I do not like those internal gear set ups, they look ugly and heavy...but hey ive never ridden one so I can't say how well they work.

well both the GT It1 and some of the Nicolai frames have these internal gear boxes or g-box's as some people call them i read last year in a biking mag. that the It1 amazed a lot of people with its shifting ability, you can be riding as fast up or down a hill and shift smoothly and consistently although they are limited to a certain amount of gears, i know that Shimano makes the 9 speed nexus gear box, i am pretty sure thats what it is called but don't quote me on that, and yes the downside to these internal transmissions are unfortunately the weight but the sport is always moving forward as we all know and these could be the future of DH MTBing technology!

If i remember correctly Devinci experimented with the internal gears for a year aswell, it was a team only bike, or the cost was so ridculous that only the team could afford it. But it was only around for a year or so... I would never want to ride one of those bikes on a muddy day, it would weigh a ton at the end of a run.
