lol well im not a jew unlike other ppl on this thread lmao, 10-15 seems fine, its for fun and we get free shit. its not like the track is a piece of shit or anything, its got some little tech spots which would maybe throw a couple ppl off, i think it will be great, i will see what i can put together for a better timing system, i can make bomb ass steaks rob and i can get them for cheap so if you let me know whats in the budget food wise then i can price out a whole bunch of steaks, and trust me when i say amazing, like you will be begging me to make more for you. Oh I believe you, i'll let you know the budget asap. In the video of the course, that is only 1/4 of the track showcased. Last night me and jay spent a couple hours carving a GNAR new section. Definatly will be the spot to watch, wickid bails

this sounds like it will be siiick, and seriosly why is every 1 complaining, its only 15$ just for a fun relaxed weekend of dh, for a weekend of o-cup its 76$ without food... so i think every one should chill out and just enjoy what these riders are doing for every one els!

Hey guys, great idea, but here are a few suggestions. Keep it simple. People will come to ride, race and hang out. They will not come because you are offering prizes, therefore, why complicate it? If you do charge a coupe of bucks, put it towards the BBQ and water, that way everyone wins. UBikeTV always steps up to offer prizes, but why don't you make them draw prizes, therefore, anyone can win. Keep it relaxed and keep it fun.

Like the famous saying..."If you build it, they will come".

yeah exactly... people are gonna come for a good time and fun. Not for some prizes. Ocup charges so much because its big time biz and u actually get points towards something and chances to take your racing further with big results... thats where the money goes (plus insurance ski hill medics etc) pitch 5 bucks in a pot....winner takes a little to make it exciting then the rest on a bbq... i told people about this race expecting to get the same results and they all told me... the more money the better will go to win. perhaps it should be done. yeah cant get to a comp so often gotta use my friends down the street whos also a racer. Wonder when this is going on.

Everyone makes a great point. Thats why I was looking for input first, not to jump the gun set a price and piss some people off. We'll just do a few bucks in a pot and winner takes it home. Food will still be there.
