What camera, program etc. did you use?

I have a Sony HC42 and a headcam to come very soon.
How did you do the sped up clouds part? Is that a camera setting or something in the editing?

i think he shoot on time lapse two ­frame­s fer second for about five minutes,
camera P2 panasonic, final cut pro,after efects, he'll tell you the rest.
we'll set up a edit suite at the studio, you should come by

Panasonic HVX200 shooting to hard disc media (p2 Card)
When you are shooting to a Hard disc you can then shoot different ­frame­ rates,
So the timelapse was shoot at 2 ­frame­s a second and plays back at 30 fps and
the slow mo clips were shot at 60 ­frame­s per second. Only a few years ago if
you wanted to do this in camera you had to be shooting 16mm or 35mm film.
The HVX or Sony EX1 are the lowest priced cameras that can do this (both are 6 thousand to 7 thousand)

You can do the timelapse in post and make it look close to this just shoot for a like 5 minutes or more
and then speed it up by 1000% or more it can result in the same type of effect.

Editing was all done in Final Cut Studio and Motion graphic intro elements were done in Adobe After Effects.

There are a few different editing apps out there that you can do some of the same stuff with, like if you are
on a PC you can get Adobe Premiere CS3 or Sony Vegas.

Best thing to do is when you get your camera just go out and shoot a ton and don't worry about messing up or anything, have fun and experiment.
