So im looking at getting my first freeride bike. I have almost enough money and this is what im thinking

The transition Bottlerocket. 5.5 inches. I will either get it with that same setup or with abit nicer one involving deetraks, all raceface evolve dh, juicy 7's, e13, x9 and either a fox van r, 66, totem (prob to big)or travis.

I want it almost soley for freeride/slopesyle freeride. It will have to deal with abit of DH as its my only fully.

What do you guys think?... good choice? or should i get something with more travel. The only problem i have with that is i loose the standover hieght the bottle rocket offers. And fork and component choices? anything you guys think needs to be changed?

I envy you, if you get the bottle rocket. That bike is perfect for slopestyle and freeride. Its like a dirt jumper with suspension. For the fork i would probably put on the fox or the travis 150. Mayb the totem is you lower it down to around 150mm

IMO i think the bottle rocket is way to overated and the better bikes are the ones nobody will excpect to be good. If your riding freeride slopestyle check out some strong xc/am frames.
