First is that forks can get too big it is possible to weakin your frame second is that you would no want to put that big of a fork on anybike that you are using in 4cross i dont know if that is what you are doing or not.

why is no one understanding this. i dont want another pair of singlecrowns. ive been hearing answers like this from the techs at megastore bike departments(sport check for example) and its rediculous. its not impossible for dual crown forks to fit on my bike. there has to be a make and model of dual crown forks that will fit my bike, preferably with a bit more travel then i have now.(150 mm)

Nooo not at all, you shouldnt try to take anyones opinion or advice after starting a thread on whats best to do.

Seriously man, if you dont want to take the advice people are giving you, people with probably alot more experience too, you should just stop bothering and do what ever you want.

Why even ask, it seems like you have a good idea on what you want. a long travel dual crown on a 6 inch travel bike.... What a waste, there heavy, and restrict movement, and im guessing that dh is not your main riding style, seeing as how you are riding 6 inches in the back, and any dual crown under 200mm they make, they dont make many, and its travel would be matched with a lighter, better quality singlecrown product.

Think about it.

if u want Dual Crown best thing to do is get some Mantou Stance DC but i would listen to wat every one is saying... just because your a downhiller doesnt mean u need to have DC forks, a SC travis, 66's, or even Totems are all DH forks, i talked to a rider a Blue Mountain (who was part of the bike patrol, which means she rides blue almost everyday) who had totems and she said she loves them for riding blue they work pefectly on all the runs. I know you may like the look of DC so do I i like them more the SC but when u have to send away your forks or have to buy a new frame or are going to wish you listen to any one here.

If thats not enough and you still want DC buy a new frame

^Dude the whole Stance line-up is terrible.

I ride a 66rc2x and I race downhill, I would take this over a 888 any day.
