Well, for those of you who havent already read it on Dropmachine, or have heard about it. Blue is officially a non jump friendly venue.
From what i have heard about the incident, a kid was paralyzed on the hill, and him and his family have sued.
Blue has officially Dozed any man made, or natural features that would cause ones bike to leave the ground, progression park is totally gone, and many trails are still being modified.
No matter what the injury, i would feel ashamed to be responsible for taking away most of what ontarian's call the only thing thats the province has ( had ).
This is official, not just hear say. call for your self if you dont beleive

Its sucks but im sure we will get over it. Like we hit the jumps there half the guys there are DH guys anyways and if your there for the jumping you prolly shouldnt be there because it sucked. Just go make ur own trails and do whatever you want with them make do with what we have. Makes of a better rider.

blue will be back in rippin shape againe next year. they r still haveing the dj comp at the hill. but i think that its safe to say that blue is done for this year  |

There has been two injures... one kid is paralazed and i dont know about the other kid (that is hear say tho) I heard about the first kid getting parazled from a Patroler on the Mountain the topic came up after John Cowan Was spotted on the Mountain and the Patrol told us that he was there to film a video on the proper way to hit DJ
All i have to say is "this F****** Sucks" and "that GOD i went up when i did"

The other was a n00b that flatlanded the drop, and cracked his skull open...
No ones sueing, blue is just doing this as a precaution for the rest of the season, there is rumored to be new stuff going up next season
