whats your take on the debate on the smaller 24' weels compared to 26'? are the bigger badder 26s the best or do you like the faster 'poppier' 24s?

Well, from my experience with both;
24's are much easier to spin, and manuver...also they are faster and roll alittle better.
26's, mountain bike wheels son! Smoother on dirt jumps and landings...harder to manuver.
I personally like 26's better, i road dual 24's for a while...and just plain did not like them. The 26'' just felt alot better overall, manually, bunny hop, even spinning.
I just feel more secure on them for some reason.

^Though they are generally stronger than the 26 versions...and lighter.
But yeh, i would rather learn on 26's than 24's.

i think i like both the 24 and 26 but the 26 make me feal safer and the 24 is alot harder on trails and landings and any thing remotely bumpy but they do have an advantage in the street and park area

its all about preference and also the type of riding impacts alot
i personaaly like 26's because although i do do alot of street and wouldnt mind that extra bit of manuaverablity and pop but i also like to dj a bit and like 26's on dj's so i ride 26's
but then again its all about preference

I personally ride 26's better... cuz i like jumping stuff in the city, its also easier to climb on to stuff... i just found 24's a bit too small.... its also cuz im a Downhiller... so im used to my big bike.
