The following is an easy and efficient way to install bmx style grips onto your handlebars, without having to use a compressor.

First, get yourself a can of this (any silicone spray will do)

Second, clean the bar, than spray the area where the grip will go on (just one shot will do)

Third, simply press the grip onto the bar.

Now, at first the grip will move, but remember this is silicone spray, so it dries after a little bit. Now if you have to much on the bar (you will know) just simply pat it down slightly or completely and push the grip on.

In order to take the grip off, you will need a flat head screw driver and the same spray can. Get the screw driver inside the grip and pull it up away from the bar, spray between the bar and the grip and simply pull the grip off the bar. (be careful you do not puncture the grip)
