MILTON, ON, September 15, 2007- The 2007 Cycle Solutions O-Cup series wrapped up with a bang and a shiver today as the final 4 cross race was held at Track 2000 in Milton. Chilly Fall-like temperatures did not discourage riders from taking one last kick at the fast-paced competition.
The newly ramped-up track, featuring even more challenging jumps in the first section, provided lots of thrilling air for the devoted spectators who braved the wind and the occasional sprinkle of rain. Riders tackled the demanding berm with speed and finesse—and luckily came out with no serious injuries during the races.
SirBikeALot founder and racing guru Pete Appleton congratulated the riders for an excellent season that saw record crowds at every event.
The final competition caps a great summer of downhill and 4 cross. Along with the valuable racing experiences for riders—from the medals to the misses--everyone walks away with some awesome memories.
